Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works - South Townsville, QLDGovernment, Defence & Emergency Source: uWorkin JOB DESCRIPTION As a Business Support Officer you will: Build and maintain cohesive and functional relationships across Local Government Division to deliver the shared objectives of the Division and promote a 'One LGD' environment.Provide efficient administration and support in the coordination of correspondence, briefs, HR requests, finance, travel, event management and other activities, ensuring quality and timely completion.As a member of the Local Government Division Business Support Officers network, provide additional administrative support to the wider Local Government Division as required.Draft and monitor internal business requests for approval, ensuring appropriate delegations, approvals and preparation of required documentation.Assist in the preparation and distribution of regular or ad hoc reporting to senior staff and cost centre managers (such as HR, payroll and finance reporting).Develop and maintain positive relationships and communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders (such as HR, finance and Queensland Shared Services) on services and processes which support business operations.Work flexibly as part of the Local Government Division Business Support Officers network and contribute to the maintenance of effective business systems and processes by sharing information and identifying opportunities for process improvement.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/603059/24Closing Date: Friday, 22 November 2024This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License. #J-18808-Ljbffr
