We are seeking a highly skilled APS6 Conformance Assessment Analyst to join a dynamic team within a government agency. In this role, you will be responsible for executing conformance assessments of vendor systems, guiding developers, and ensuring the integrity of software products through rigorous testing and analysis.
As an APS6 Conformance Assessment Analyst, you will perform complex tasks under limited direction and demonstrate strong initiative and judgment in the following key areas:
Key Responsibilities:
* Conformance Testing & Reporting:
o Conduct software testing and produce detailed conformance reports.
o Lead observation sessions for vendor testing and document outcomes.
o Develop and maintain conformance test cases for multiple vendors.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
o Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
o Provide expert advice and support for conformance-related help desk requests.
o Manage relationships with stakeholders to meet work area and agency goals.
* Process Development & Improvement:
o Contribute to the development and improvement of conformance assessment processes and procedures.
o Update and maintain conformance profiles for assigned service areas.
o Ensure compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks.
* Risk & Issue Management:
o Assist in identifying risks and issues, supporting the development of mitigation strategies.
o Work with limited direction to make decisions based on established agency priorities.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in writing and assessing generic test cases for multiple vendors.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Visio, Excel, and Word.
* Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and process mapping.
* Experience in data auditing, quality assurance, and control activities is desirable.
* Demonstrated experience with risk assessment methodologies.
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance, with the potential to obtain higher-level clearances if required.
