This team works across Out of Home Care (OOHC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and supports people who experience challenging behaviours with a focus on trauma informed care and trauma recovery.Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected disability support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers.
Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across VIC and NSW.About the PositionThe Complex Care Team provides services and supports to both OOHC / Voluntary OOHC and NDIS participants allowing a dual role across Youth and Disability Support.
The Complex Disability Support Worker is responsible for developing, assisting and supporting clients in various locations such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centers and emergency accommodation on a daily basis.This position works within Kirinari's strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care to provide safety to our clients while identifying and supporting growth needs.
