Hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne Responsible for overseeing major customers About Our Client ITW Polymers & Fluids, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), is a global leader in high-performance industrial products and equipment.Focused on innovation and customer-driven solutions, they serve industries such as mining, oil & gas, and manufacturing, delivering reliable products that enhance performance and efficiency.In their industrial division, they are seeking a Strategic Key Account Manager to manage and grow top-tier clients by implementing strategies to drive sales and foster long-term partnerships.Job Description Design and implement a sales and engagement strategy to foster a collaborative working relationship with our major channel partners nationally.Actively promote and communicate the value that ITW's brands and organisation provides to our major 80s channel partners.Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with key Influencers and decision makers at corporate office level of key channel partners.Focus on category managers, major account managers, state managers, and c-suite.Manage the commercial relationship with the channel partner to gather information on end market trends and promotions impacting demand.Collaborate with ITW's regional sales managers, product managers and application experts to deliver on major sales opportunities.Create, measure progress and convert a sales pipeline to meet the sales objectives in line with the 80/20 focus.Develop the customer strategy and show the sales team and supporting functions (Operations.Marketing, Technical) how we will work and win with these customers.Regular customer visits and joint call activity - directly supporting customers on site, the sales and marketing teams and other departments on select products and implement the Division's branded products on related applications.Maintain records of customer communications, quote status and sales activities using Salesforce CRM.The Successful Applicant A successful commercial track record in Key Account Management, with a focus on using strategic initiatives to cultivate and develop long-term partnerships.Consultative & collaborative to lead through influence from field and category management to C- Suite.Strong sense of initiative and drive to grow and lead with insights and excellent external stakeholder management.Deep understanding of customer drivers and business structure.Leads in ITW's 80/20 philosophy and values to keep focus and alignment to the strategy.Self-motivated, organised and confident.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Excellent planning & organisation skills.What's on Offer A competitive salary of around $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, with a 10% bonus.Additional benefits including a car or car allowance, and super.The opportunity to work in a large, innovate company, with clear strategy and a professional work environment.A challenging role where you can make a real positive impact on the company's success.Are you a Key or National Account Manager seeking the next step in your career?This role offers an excellent growth opportunity within a supportive environment, as the company aims to expand its footprint in the Australian market.
