Position Overview In this role you will work within the community programs team to collaborate on the delivery of playgroups and other supports to families. You will be required to build quality relationships with children and families to provide a welcoming environment. You will take a flexible approach to ensure you meet families where they are at on their parenting journey, while providing modelling and support around early childhood development. Key Essential Criteria: Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education Outstanding skills in communication with families Skills to collaborate and work in a team environment Ability to model effective early childhood practice working knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Evidence of commitment to an inclusive curriculum Ability to follow WH&S and other policies Knowledge of the ECEC sector Experience providing playgroups (desirable) Maintain a valid paid Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children's Guardian Maintain a current First Aid and CPR certification Identify and respond to children at risk certificate (desirable) Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate. A valid driver's licence.
