This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31 August 2026.
What is our Senior Pharmacy Technician - Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) role?
The Senior Pharmacy Technician role delivers quality pharmacy services within the specialised VAD area to patients and practitioners, across the entire medicines management continuum in line with policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to, efficient and effective medicine procurement and distribution, technical assistance in the preparation of pharmaceutical products, efficient and accurate dispensing services, documentation and reporting. This position will work closely with Pharmacists and Senior Technicians to ensure seamless service integration through participation in supervision, relevant training activities, and competency development of technical staff within Pharmacy.

About the Service
The WA VAD Statewide Pharmacy Service is an important source of expertise and support for health practitioners and patients accessing VAD. It is a state-wide service and involves supporting patients wherever they are in WA.
