About the role:
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Adelaide Head Office. In this role, you will play a critical part in financial reporting, analysis, and business insights, collaborating with finance and operational teams across multiple locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to drive process improvements, support decision-making, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports, including variance analysis and financial commentary.
2. Overseeing the fixed assets and leases processes, including CapEx reviews.
3. Supporting inventory costing and production accounting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. Preparing and lodging BAS and HMRC (VAT and excise) returns, while ensuring tax compliance.
5. Conducting monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and key accounts.
6. Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making.
7. Supporting internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and process improvements.
We are looking for:
1. Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting or similar qualification.
2. CA/CPA qualified or currently studying towards certification.
3. Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial or public accounting.
4. Experience with JDE and Hubble (advantageous).
5. Tax compliance and manufacturing experience (highly beneficial).
6. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
7. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on process improvement.
8. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and provide meaningful financial insights.
