This role ensures the efficient delivery of assigned programs of work within time and budget constraints while managing risks to achieve optimal asset performance and meet safety objectives.Key Responsibilities includeLead operational decision-making, balancing customer service, regulatory, and commercial requirements under tight or crisis conditionsManage day-to-day team operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalating to the Construction Manager as needed Oversee project execution, adapting plans to meet changing needs while ensuring cost-effective resource management and schedulingEstablish and monitor performance criteria for internal and external resources, driving accountability and achieving project goalsChampion health and safety compliance, fostering a culture of care while maintaining readiness for emergency response through training and rosteringWork on a 10-4 roster with travel across the state, performing tasks in diverse weather conditionsAbout YouThe successful applicant will bring a proven track record in supervision, paired with a proactive attitude and the ability to inspire and drive team success.
Experience Supervising field staff and considerable working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networksPrevious experience working on the EQL networkLeading a team within the electrical maintenance, construction environment to succeed while maintaining a strong safety focusAbility to manage project budgets, to meet and exceed performance expectationsExperience writing HVAFW & LVAFWComputer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SAP, EQ SystemsFormal technical and/or trade qualifications – Certificate III in power distribution; Hold a current Glove & Barrier AuthorityCurrent HR Drivers LicenceOur people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
