Purpose of the Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will support the Commercial Department in appropriately managing bill of quantities, take off quantities, contracts administration and the claims, variations and payment authorisation processes as required.
Qualifications:
7. Recognised tertiary qualifications within a relevant field (B.Sc. Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management)

Experience:
9. Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
10. Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
11. Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
12. Experience in claims / variations
13. Experience of SAP Software / accounting and associated reporting
Required Competencies:
14. Strong data management, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills
15. Developed understanding of contracts and contract law
16. High level of interpersonal and effective communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
17. Advanced skills in MS Excel
18. Experience on major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale
