What your day will look like: The Manager Strategic Infrastructure Planning is responsible for leading the development and delivery of long-tern, regional infrastructure planning, strategies and policy having regard to relevant statutory, policy and financial provisions.
This role will take the lead in the delivery and application of the infrastructure and engineering elements of Councils 10 year statutory review of the Planning Scheme, along with Councils 5 year statutory review of the Local Government Infrastructure Plan.
This is a diverse role that will require the successful candidate to build and maintain strong, cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results and ensure cross program cooperation.

What you'll need for success: Tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7 or above) in civil engineering, infrastructure planning or equivalent Experience in the design and project management complex civil infrastructure projects Extensive infrastructure planning experience Demonstrated technical knowledge of the Queensland land use planning framework Experience in civil infrastructure planning, strategy, and policy development activities in a local government environment Well developed interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills Queensland Class "C" drivers' licence Benefits of Working with Council Committed to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
