Nextt are seeking a compassionate and dependable female Disability Support Worker to join a team providing 2:1 care for our client with epileptic encephalopathy and profound intellectual disability. The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, including transfers, continence care, showering, and meal preparation. The individual is non-verbal, has severe language impairments, and experiences frequent tonic-clonic seizures. She values meaningful interaction with her support team and enjoys various activities. Shifts: Position 1 ( 40 hours per fortnight ) Week 1: Tuesday: 6:00am to 9:30am (3.5 hours) Wednesday: 2:30 to 8:00pm (5.5 hours) Friday: 6:00am to 9:00am (3 hours) Week 2: Monday: 6:00am to 9:00am (3 hours) Tuesday: 2:30pm to 8:00pm (5.5 hours) Friday: 2:30pm to 8:00pm (5.5 hours) Saturday: 1:00pm to 8:00pm (7 hours) Sunday: 1:00pm to 8:00pm (7 hours) Position 2 ( 31.5 hours per fortnight ) Week 1: Saturday: 6:00am to 1:00pm (7 hours) Week 2: Tuesday: 6:00am to 9:30am (3.5 hours) Wednesday:4:00pm to 11:00pm (7 hours) Friday: 6:00am to 9:00am (3 hours) Saturday: 6:00am to 10:00am (4 hours) Sunday: 6:00am to 1:00pm (7 hours) Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $33.96 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $37.36 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $38.04 Saturday: $47.55 Sunday: $61.13 Public holiday: $74.72 Your Certificates and Licences: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
