The Role
The EL1 Data Integration Manager will work alongside the testing and engineering teams to define the environment management plan and ensure the release planning incorporates environment constraints or considerations.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
5. End-to-end ownership of building secure CI/CD processes for various applications (Design, Build, Test and Support).
6. Producing efficient, high-quality code/solutions to projects, including peer code reviews.
7. Automation scripting using Shell/Python/Lambda/Javascript and Typescript.
8. Implementation of automated workflows for data ingestion, processing and distribution.
9. Ensuring data quality and consistency across various data sources.
10. Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting of data pipelines and supporting operation teams in the event of production incidents.
11. Working collaboratively with the Delivery Lead to produce regular program reporting, ensuring project schedules are kept accurate and current in line with program reporting cadence.
12. Identifying and managing potential conflicts or issues within delivery schedules enabling Delivery Managers and the Delivery Lead are able to take preventative action.
Essential criteria
13. Demonstrated 5 years’ experience working with Data and Analytics Platforms.
14. Demonstrated experience in the management of SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics and Teradata.
15. Experience with container-based technologies and their deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
16. Demonstrated experience in integrating DevOps with data and analytics platforms and with data/analytics platforms and data applications. With the use of tools including, but not limited to; Terraform, Vault, Artifactory and Gitlab.
17. Demonstrated knowledge of cloud services and their data-related services and experience with big data technologies and ETL processes.
18. Demonstrated experience with integration design patterns, data and analytics is essential for this position.
Desirable criteria
19. Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency preferred.
20. Experience in delivering and managing multi-cloud networks, as well as designing and building cloud-based data and analytic solutions.
21. Experience in migrating on-premise applications to the Cloud (AWS/Azure).
22. Certifications in SAS, Teradata, Dev/Ops and Agile.
