From the moment a guests steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Service Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every details of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Your day-to-day: Acknowledging and prioritizing IHG Rewards members, InterContinental Ambassadors, and returning guests. Handling guest bookings, suggesting upgrades, and promoting amenities. Managing cash and credit transactions efficiently. Swiftly checking guests in and out, ensuring ID verification and room key distribution. Anticipating guest needs, recording preferences, and resolving inquiries promptly. Serving as a reliable contact for guests, assisting with everything from billing to local recommendations. Maintaining a professional appearance and embodying brand values. Staying informed about daily events and activities. Assisting colleagues with ad-hoc tasks. Qualifications: Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guests leaves with great memories Fluency in English – extra language skills would be great, but not essential Experience – ideally you have spent at least one year in a front desk or guest service position Flexibility– night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job Compliant – you’ll be above minimum age required Strong – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs. Literate and Tech-Savvy – you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math and computers.
