Primary ObjectiveThis role, based in Chicago, serves as a regional representative for Lawrence University, a top-tier liberal arts college and conservatory of music.
This position is accountable for driving territory growth through strategic relationship management and targeted recruitment initiatives.
The individual will enhance the university's reputation while increasing applications, admissions, and enrollments in Illinois and Missouri.
Success will be measured by achieving specific enrollment goals and cultivating long-term relationships with students, families, and influencers.
Job ResponsibilitiesDrive Recruitment Goals: Develop and execute strategic plans to grow applications and enrollments from the assigned territory, meeting or exceeding established metrics.Foster Relationships: Build and maintain connections with high school counselors, independent advisors, alumni, and community stakeholders to strengthen the university's brand presence.Territory Management: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students within the region.
Organize high school visits, college fairs, and recruitment events to maximize outreach.Advising & Counseling: Guide prospective students and families through the admissions and financial aid processes via in-person meetings, phone calls, and digital platforms, ensuring a high level of customer service.Event Coordination: Plan and manage off-campus recruitment events, ensuring successful execution and follow-up to drive engagement and conversion.Application Evaluation: Thoroughly review applications, providing timely, data-driven recommendations to support admissions decisions.Presentations & Outreach: Deliver compelling presentations about Lawrence University to both small and large groups, effectively communicating the value proposition of the institution.Alumni Engagement: Collaborate with alumni to leverage their networks and amplify the university's visibility.Collaborative Projects: Contribute to broader admissions initiatives, offering innovative ideas to enhance recruitment strategies and meet institutional objectives.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Proven track record in admissions, sales, or related fields with experience managing client or territory portfolios.Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong aptitude for relationship building and influencing diverse audiences.Technology: Proficiency in CRM systems and tools such as Excel; experience with Slate preferred.Characteristics: Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
