What you’ll be doing
In this role you’ll manage the effective implementation of the governance and risk management frameworks across the Cancer Institute NSW and oversee an ongoing compliance program. You will have the opportunity to ensure that GRC underpins the strategic goals of the organisation and creates value through innovation and continuous improvement of our systems, processes and work practices to support good decision making and strong oversight and assurance.
You will have demonstrated experience leading governance, risk management and compliance functions across a large and complex organisation. You will have a proven track record working with a diverse set of stakeholders at all different levels to deliver GRC improvements and outcomes.

In addition to base salary:
4. 11% superannuation
5. 4 weeks annual leave (plus leave loading)

7. 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

Essential requirements
12. Demonstrated extensive experience in leading governance, risk management and compliance functions within a large and complex organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
13. Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes by working effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders across a high volume, demanding professional environment, and a proven ability to build improvement into the customer experience.
14. Measured success analysing, interpreting and relaying complex information from numerous sources and proactively designing and formulating strategic, business-focused solutions for a range of stakeholders, with an ability to make technical GRC requirements relatable.
15. Proven ability to influence and drive continuous improvements and initiatives that strengthen strategic outcomes and build stronger systems of assurance and oversight across a large, complex environment.
