We are seeking a graduate Interior Designer to work on a range of exciting projects out of our beautiful Toowoomba Studio on the Darling Downs, Queensland.
Toowoomba is located 1.5 hours from Brisbane in the picturesque Darling Downs, where we have access to Wellcamp Airport providing direct flights into Sydney and Melbourne.
Toowoomba offers a wonderful work-life balance with a 5 to 10 minute commute to our centrally located studio.
What you'll be doing Collaborate with the design team to conceptualise and develop innovative interior design solutions Assist in the planning, layout, and spatial planning of commercial and residential spaces Source and select appropriate materials, furniture, and accessories to bring design concepts to life Prepare detailed design presentations, including sketches, 3 D renderings, and mood boards Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design projects Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the interior design industry What we're looking for A degree in Interior Design or a related field 2+ years experience Commercial/Residential Experience Demonstrable experience in applying the principles of interior design, space planning, and colour theory Proficiency in using design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, In Design and Adobe Creative Suite Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics Excellent communication and collaboration skills A passion for creating functional and visually appealing spaces Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Strong all-round designer with curiosity and enthusiasm to learn What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement A supportive and collaborative work environment Work-life balance initiatives Access to the latest design tools and resources Role Full-time (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm) Immediate start OR late January 2025 start Applications Close: 5 December 2024 (or earlier if we have the right candidate) If you are interested in joining our team at ASI, please submit your CV ASAP addressing the above attributes with accompanying work samples (no more than 10mb PDF attachment) ****** #J-18808-Ljbffr
