WorkPac is currently in search of a Project Officer to join our esteemed client's team in Perth.Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network, and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto is expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next-generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs, and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.About the Role:This role will assist with ensuring land tenure assets are managed effectively to ensure security and to enable the continued growth of Rio Tinto's business within Western Australia.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage tenure obligations database, monitor compliance, and prepare monthly reportsFormulate tenement applications in compliance with statutory requirements and time constraintsPrepare and lodge statutory documents and correspondence relating to tenure obligationsFoster relationships with technical and support staff to ensure timely receipt of supporting documentationPerform general administrative duties, including document control, scanning, filing, and coordinating meetingsComply with HSEQ systems, chair and contribute to team and safety meetingsSkills and Experience Required:Experience working with the Mining Act, Land Administration Act, State Agreement Act, or associated processesStrong attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracyAdministrative experience, ideally within a regulatory or compliance environmentProficiency in using Mineral Titles Online, WAMEX, LANDGATE, TENGRAPH, ArcGIS, or similar systems (Preferred)A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferredHow to Apply:Click on the Apply button or for more information please contact:WorkPac Principal Consultant: Ryan O'Connor on (08) 6462 1171 or Ryan.Oconnor@WorkPac.com quoting the below reference number.Job Reference Number: 7469J20256094
