Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/Chef Manager and your team to deliver a high-quality catering service to our residents.Part-time permanent support worker catering/food services assistant position for Monday or Wednesday. Shift times are from 1530 to 1945.Your main duties will include:Support service delivery under the direction of the Chef/CookPrepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs of each resident including special dietary requirements, allergies and culturally specific as instructed by the Chef or Cook.Ensure environmental service standards are met and maintained, and the residents' living environment is safe and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.Ensure all duties are worked in accordance with the National Food Safety Program at all times including completing food safety records and the prevention of cross-contamination.Serve nutritious meals in a well-presented manner and at the appropriate temperaturePrepare trays and trolleys for each meal service as per the Calvary National Dining and Nutrition Guide.What you bring:Current Food Handlers CertificateStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh standards in food preparationKnowledge of food safety regulationsCurrent Covid-19 vaccinations including booster are mandatory unless assessed exemptA desire to join a team committed to the care of othersAbout YouHolds a food safety certificateHolds NDIS clearance checkHas completed NDIS WOMAbility to work on Mondays or WednesdaysWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
