The Role
We are seeking a Consultant/Specialist Respiratory and Sleep to join a dynamic, expanding team. As a regional centre, it provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, catering to a high prevalence of:
1. Lung cancer
2. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
3. Pulmonary infections and tuberculosis
4. Pulmonary fibrosis
5. Sleep disorders
The Hospital
A General Public Hospital that provides acute care facilities, this is an accredited teaching hospital that has a close partnership with the University Clinical School and the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
1. Intensive care unit
2. Acute medical unit
3. Ward-based non-invasive ventilation
4. Bronchoscopy services, including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
5. Pleural ultrasound and pleural procedures
Eligibility
Holds specialist registration; or an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality (substantially comparable).

Permanent Full-Time Role
76 hours per fortnight ( with on-call duties )
