THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years’ experience in CA/CPA firm, who is currently under ongoing CA/CPA studies and looking to expand their skills within a large, supportive firm that values client relationships and professional growth.
Work closely with Senior Accountants to deliver quality accounting services, particularly in the compliance and business advisory sectors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and BAS for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
* Provide tailored accounting and tax advice to a diverse client base, including long-standing regional clients
* Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations
* Support Senior Accountants in managing client accounts, providing insights and financial planning services
* Participate in regular professional development and training sessions
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* At least 2 years’ tax and business services experience in an Australian CA/CPA firm
* Strong skills in preparing financial statements and tax returns
* Proficiency in accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
