ABOUT THE ROLEWe are currently looking for a CASUAL & PART-TIME Registered Nurse to join our team based in Bunbury - South West Health Campus. Reporting to the Nurse In Charge, you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists.Part-Time hours: 0.4 FTECasual hours: As Rostered.The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients and radiologistsPreparation of patients undergoing examinations such as Ultrasound, CT and MRI, including IV Cannulation.Preparation of patients undergoing procedures such as biopsy, drainage and angiography including completion of paperwork and appropriate handling of any specimens/collectionsAssist with patient data/check-in where required.Post Procedure/Imaging care and recovery including monitoring and general nursingEnsure Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed at all times in the workplace.Support and assist the Radiologist/s, enabling an efficient and professional service.Overview patient activity with the aim of proactively keeping appointments on time.Assistance with patient positioning for imaging scans.To be successful in this role:Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration.IV Cannulation qualification.Advanced Life Support qualification preferred but not essential.Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial.Flexibility for overtime if required.Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.Effective problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionalsExcellent organizational and time management skills.Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently.BENEFITS, CULTURE & WELL-BEINGWork in some of Western Australia's most stunning locationsHighly competitive remuneration commensurate to experience and skillsFlexible working arrangements optionsState of the art equipmentProfessional development opportunitiesInclusive and diverse workplace - Everyone CountsMany available IDX career path optionsEmployee Recognition programsUniform ProvidedABOUT USIntegral Diagnostics is a leading provider of quality diagnostic imaging services through its highly skilled medical professionals and investment in its technology platforms.
