You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
1. Experience as a management accountant including expertise in annual budgeting contemporary financial reporting, and forecasting and an understanding of financing, cost and revenue structures, cost and revenue drivers, and the relationship between each.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and advice on all financial management issues to senior management, especially clinicians.
3. Support and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to build and foster productive working relationships that achieve organisational goals.
4. Demonstrated communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, competing priorities and ability to meet deadlines and establish work priorities.
About Corporate Services Division:
The Corporate Services Division provides support services necessary for Queensland Health to function effectively and deliver essential health services. The Division is responsible for major corporate functions including financial, legal, and human resources services, information management services and overseeing key governance functions such as risk, audit, and compliance.
