About the Company:
Our client is a global leader in Mineral Processing with over 170 assets worldwide. This is their largest site in Australia supplying a range of industries including mining, agriculture and construction.
They are now looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team.

4. Overtime available. The rate is 1.5 times the hourly wage for the initial 2 hours, then 2 times thereafter. On Sundays, the rate is doubled throughout.
5. Permanent Full-time job.
6. Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm
Role responsibilities:
7. Carry out maintenance tasks and other responsibilities as directed by site management to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations at our Bathurst facility.
8. Follow business processes and industry standards to ensure all work is completed safely, including conducting risk assessments and adhering to the Start Safe, Stay Safe protocol.
9. Collaborate with the Electrical Supervisor to review and update site electrical administrative systems, including registers, drawings, and procedures.
10. Safely operate and maintain site automation systems, making minor adjustments as required.
11. Contribute to the design, installation, and commissioning of major electrical projects, which may occasionally require travel away from your home base.
12. Inspect equipment, identify opportunities for improvement, and report your findings.
Requirements:
13. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician with a valid NSW Electrical License.
14. Over 2 years of extensive experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting.
15. In-depth knowledge of safe work practices, including Lock Out Tag Out Try Out procedures.
16. Demonstrated expertise in fault finding and problem-solving in automation, electrical systems, and processes.
17. Experience working with PLC and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
18. Valid Driver's License.
19. Strong dedication to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
