The club’s activities span men’s and women’s football, junior talent development and regional and Indigenous talent activation. Our club is back in the state-of-the-art multi-million dollar facility. We are looking for a dynamic leader who will play a pivotal role in sustained success on the field while realising our full potential off it.Position Overview:As the CEO of the East Fremantle Football Club, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring financial stability, and optimising operational efficiency. You will develop and lead a dedicated team and work closely with the Board of Directors to execute the club's strategic vision, leveraging your administration experience, strong financial management skills, and your ability to identify, plan, and execute new revenue-generating activities while continuing to build our links within the local community.You will be an ambitious leader, with a flair for marketing, community activation, love creating a high-performance environment and have a strong commercial underpinning.Responsibilities and Strategic Priorities:Strategic Planning, Future Mapping: Collaborate with the Board to drive innovative and future-oriented strategic and business plans that enable our club to realise its defined purpose and aspirations.Leadership and Culture Development: Foster a positive and supportive club environment culture, providing the systems, support structures, analytical metrics and feedback mechanisms that underpin a high-performance culture that demands openness, transparency and the dual focus of constantly improving performance (both on and off the field).Operational Excellence and Regional Development: Develop innovative engagement strategies with our regional network and partners. Foster and create opportunity in regional areas (Geraldton) through a deep commitment to service and engagement.Commercial and Financial Excellence: Have stewardship and oversight of the club’s financial performance and health, including the setting of progressive budgets, financial goals and targets.Corporate Sponsorship and Government Relations (Grants): Develop, foster and drive strong corporate and government relationships. Work closely with the Board and Business Development Manager on creating innovative sponsorship pathways and promotional opportunities that add significant value to our key stakeholders.Brand Management (social media, communications, media and merchandising): Be the custodian of the Club brand. Drive innovative social media and community engagement and merchandising strategies, including driving club membership numbers, community awareness programs, inclusion and diversity programming and any required external media promotion.Community Engagement – (Inc: Inclusion and Diversity): Strive to create a vibrant club environment that is inclusive, diverse and supportive.Technology and Organisational Transformation: Innovatively use and drive the adoption and use of technology platforms that serve to positively transform our club.Facility Management: Oversee the transition into our new multi-million dollar facility, ensuring a seamless and efficient operational setup for the 2025 season and realise the opportunities the facility presents.Qualifications and Experience:Experience as CEO, COO, Executive level or aspiring leader.Strong commercial acumen and experience in financial management and budgeting.Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, and execute new revenue-generating activities.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.Collaborative, effective leadership and team building and management skills.
