About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven individual to work with the team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, depot and machinery/equipment maintenance. Ideally you will have an interest and passion for machinery and the construction industry, abilitly to communicate well with others, computer literate and strong numerical skills.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the depot/ showroom, ensure equipment is cleaned, function tested, fuelled and stored appropriately for pick up and drop offs.
* Receiving incoming equipment, conduct off hire check list, cooperate with workshop to assist with processing for inspections and servicing.
* Provide excellent face to face and phone customer service to both our existing clients and new clients, ability to provide accurate information to suit the clients needs.
Skills & experience
* Drivers licence required and forklift licence desirable.
* Previous yard/ depot experience and or knowledge of machinery/tools and construction equipment.
* Effective communication skills, strong numerical skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work within a team in a busy environment and provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
* Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of the equipment and machinery and further progress in your career.
* Willingness to work 2 weekends a month and enjoy 2-week days off.
