The Role
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in Hobart.
Key Responsibilities
* File management – opening/closing files and filing/e-filing;
* Monthly billing and reporting;
* Adhering to client service standards;
* Drafting correspondence;
* Client liaison;
* Brief preparation;
* Diary and travel management including booking appointments; and
* General PA and secretarial support.
About You
This role will suit a candidate with the following:
* Previous experience in defendant insurance litigation desirable;
* Experience using precedent, billing and file management programs;
* Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work;
* Strong communication skills; and
* Ability to build strong internal relationships.
