As an Oracle Data Centre Technician you will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment.
You will be able to troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues within a Data Centre environment while working closely with a senior Technician.
You will be able to install/assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of data centre equipment.
You will be required to perform routine maintenance such as replacing failed components and updating firmware.
You will need to understand the support tools used to maintain data centre activities and assist with maintaining an accurate parts inventory.
Your attention to detail is imperative.

Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements.
Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
Background in Linux.
Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).
