Alpenglow Australia is a Radiology Service provider, specialising in regional, rural and remote areas, while utilising the latest technology to provide a metropolitan level service to our communities. Alpenglow is backed by Qscan Group who also encompasses Qscan Radiology Clinics, South East Radiology, North Coast Radiology, and Envision Medical Imaging.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join our Radiologist Support Team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, experienced in administration and customer service. As a Medical Administrator with Alpenglow you will further your career by building your skillset through providing quality control and support to a team of Radiologists. We are a friendly team, full training is provided as required on systems, and we have a fully stocked office with snacks and drinks.
This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, working Monday to Friday, 8 hours shifts on a rotating roster from 7.30am – 7.30pm each week.
As a Medical Administrator your role comprises of two key responsibilities:
Administration and Customer Service
* Worklist management to ensure KPIs are met
* Providing ad-hoc support to our radiologists over the phone and via email
* Providing support to clients to ensure service KPIs are met
* Connecting radiologists with referring doctors
* PACs system management
* Providing support to our practices with overflow appointment bookings and any other assistance required
Quality Control
* Working alongside the radiologists in ensuring reports are dictated efficiently and accurately
* Proofreading, reviewing, auditing and editing typed reports
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience using medical software, particularly any radiology information system (RIS). Previous experience using Comrad, Clario or Intele-PACs would be highly regarded.
* Competence in medical terminology and medical radiology – ideal for someone with a medical background or studies
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Highly organized and able to multitask
* Flexibility with hours (Rotating shifts – 7:30am with the latest shift ending 7:30pm)
* High level of attention to detail
* Team player
* Proactive approach and good work ethic
