EDUCATIONAL LEADER Hamilton Island in the glorious Whitsundays is Australia's Premier Island Resort with 4 resort options, over 15 different dining and restaurant establishments, a championship golf course, a stunning Yacht Club, two luxurious Day Spas, a Kindy, and Kids Club.About You You are a passionate educator and committed to being a leader in the field.You have dedicated experience in childcare leadership, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.You are driven to guide, motivate, and inspire staff members to perform at their best and foster a positive work environment.You possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Educators to build their capacity by inspiring, motivating, affirming, challenging, and extending their practice and pedagogy; to develop, design, and implement a curriculum aligned with EYLF and the NQF.Guide and support educators in planning and delivering programs.Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, promoting best practices in early childhood education.Monitor and assess the quality of educational practices within the centre and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation.Collaborate with the Director of Education to implement improvement plans based on evaluations and feedback.Build positive relationships with families, encouraging their involvement in the educational process.Communicate regularly with families about their children's progress and program initiatives.Lead regular team meetings to discuss program planning and staff development, fostering collaboration that encourages sharing of ideas and practices.To be successful in the role you will need: Educational Leadership: Spearhead curriculum development aligned with EYLF and the National Quality Framework.Compliance and Administration: Ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient administration of centre operations.Staff Development: Mentor and support our passionate educators, fostering their professional growth and maintaining a positive workplace culture.Facility Management: Ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene.Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with families, stakeholders, and local authorities to enhance our centre's community presence.You will also have: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Preferred) Blue Card (Essential) Current First Aid HLTAID012 Certification (Essential) #J-18808-Ljbffr
