Job Title: Generative AI Model and Distributed Training Business Development Manager (APJ)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced technical business leader to drive the Go-to-Market strategy for the next evolution of Generative AI model building and training customers across APJ.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess market opportunity across the APJ region for Model training and inference.
* Develop and own the GTM plan that will identify target customer segments, partnership opportunities, roadblocks and risks with initial launch, success criteria for launch and the investment strategy.
* Responsible for influence, interlock and communications with the Global Service, marketing and regions expansion teams.
* 15+ years' experience in software development, ML engineering, or Solution Architecture.
* Proven track record at owning and executing new product launch or market development strategies across the APJ region (e.g., taking new products to market, or building new businesses), including identifying and closing first customer wins.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
* Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams and developing and presenting business/investment strategies to C-Suite/Board level.
* An independent and creative thinker who can operate with autonomy in high ambiguous environments without direct reporting line of Service and Infrastructure Teams.
* 'Invent and simply' mindset. Data driven, but comfortable with ambiguity. Adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions.
* Manage complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
* Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
* Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
* Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
