Payroll Administrator - Government Contract (Health sector) - 4 x positions availableImmediate startInitial contract through to 26th January 2025 with view to extend$48.97 p/h + SuperFull time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekSydney Olympic Park location - Stunning new offices!Full time on site for the first 4-6 weeks for training followed by 2 days a week working from home (Thursdays and Fridays)We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running; previous exposure to payroll processes and systems, especially in a Government environment, is highly desirable.About the Organisation:Our client, a Government department within the emergency services sector, is seeking 4 x experienced administration professionals with strong customer service experience and preferably a background in payroll, workers compensation, or HR for a contract position with the potential for ongoing work.Role Responsibilities:This role will be responsible for all workers compensation payroll along with other payroll tasks including providing advice to staff on how to complete timesheets and payroll requests. The successful candidates will be required to work both independently and as a team on assigned tasks, as well as a requirement to work to strict deadlines while being able to multi-task and maintain quality of work at all times. A crucial aspect of the role is fostering a customer-oriented and supportive team culture, aiming to deliver high-quality and efficient service.Duties within the role will include but are not limited to:Responsible for all workers compensation payroll enquiries and processingProviding advice to staff on how to complete timesheets and handling other payroll requestsRespond to general enquiries in a confidential, customer-focused manner, providing support in maintaining rosters time and attendance through the required systems (including eTime, HealthRoster, StaffLink, Veritas, ServiceNow, and/or various other systems) within a complex and changeable environmentMaintain accurate records of all enquiries, requests, and action taken to resolve/complete all enquiries and requestsCollaborating with a number of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationshipsEnsure data entry and quality review of day-to-day rosters is timely and accurate for delivery of the interface for payment of salary and wagesActively work towards achieving service excellence and great customer experience.Skills & Experience:Outstanding customer service skills, ideally demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer support service regarding payroll and/or rostering system matters in a high-pressure work environmentTech savvy with the ability to pick up new systems and software programs with easeExperience with HealthRoster, myShift, eTime, StaffLink, and ServiceNow is highly beneficial but not a requirementExceptional written and verbal communication skills with impeccable accuracy and attention to detailAbility to prioritise multiple competing tasks and work under pressure to achieve strict deadlinesAbility to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environmentPrevious experience in a Government environment is desirableIf you are an experienced, dynamic, and motivated administration professional looking for your next Government opportunity, please apply today or email a copy of your updated resume to Brooke Dover at brooked@charterhouse.com.au.Applications will be closing soon!Please note, only successful candidates will be contacted.
