ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subdivision and roadworks projects. From initial planning to handover, you will work with a team of professionals to ensure that projects meet specifications, stay within budget, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. Your experience in subdivisions and roadworks will be critical to the successful execution of these high-profile projects.
DUTIES.
* Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring all targets and deadlines are met.
* Manage resources, including staff, materials, and equipment, to optimise project efficiency.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
* Prepare and deliver project reports to keep senior management and clients updated on progress and any issues.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, with a focus on subdivisions and roadworks.
* Strong understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and regulatory standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
