Moby's Bar is a celebration of where the land meets the sea, home to a selection of the world's finest whiskies, smartest cocktails, and wonderful wines, where plush, rich velvets, deep soft leather, marble, mahoganies and the dark soothing colours of yesteryear combine with seaside charm.This award-winning crew is casting a line out for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage leader to excel in our Restaurant Supervisor position.This full-time opportunity is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional experiences; essential accountabilities include:Set restaurant in line with booking requirements and customer requestsBreak down and cleaning of restaurantAssist with rostering requirements and shift coverageProvide staff training to new team members and assist with current staff development plansSupervise and manage staff on shiftResolve customer complaintsPrepare and serve barista standard coffeeProvide full fine dining table servicePrepare and serve beverages, including cocktail and presentation of wineFacilitate room service, taking orders and deliveryFollow RSA government legislation requirementsMaintain cleanliness front of house areasSet up and break down of Function and Events on siteOversee and manage daily open and closing proceduresThis position will require availability for split shifts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service across a 7-day rotating roster. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday, and school holiday periods; availability during seasonal peaks is essential.Certifications required: RSAThis role will require you to complete a criminal check prior to your appointment to the position (cost covered by Wests).About youWe are seeking passionate senior Food and Beverage professionals with fine dining experience. Good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting will be highly regarded. You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to retain your high standards in a busy and demanding position.
