Job Description: We’re seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Data, ML/AI team. In this role, you’ll drive AI initiatives across the platform, from machine learning applications to pioneering generative AI features. You’ll play a key role in developing data-driven solutions that enhance user experience and product intelligence. Familiarity with search and recommendation systems, AWS, and SageMaker is essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities: - AI & Machine Learning Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to support AI-driven solutions across the platform, including personalization, predictive analytics, and generative AI applications. Lead model experimentation, evaluation, and optimization to continuously improve performance. - Generative AI Research & Innovation: Explore and develop generative AI applications that address unique A&D challenges, enhancing design recommendations and creating intelligent content generation tools. Integrate advanced generative AI techniques into the platform to support user-driven AI experiences. - Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Conduct data analysis to extract actionable insights that drive AI model improvements and inform product strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aligned with user and business needs. Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate actionable insights for internal teams, supporting strategic business decisions and product improvements. Work with business stakeholders to deliver analytics and dashboards that drive internal business intelligence and performance metrics. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient model deployment and data quality. Partner with product managers and software engineers to integrate AI features seamlessly, focusing on enhancing user experience. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, with the ability to work with complex datasets. Strong experience in machine learning, with hands-on experience in model deployment and optimization. Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model building. Familiarity with AWS, particularly SageMaker, for managing and deploying ML models at scale. Experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Generative AI & ML Knowledge: Deep understanding of generative AI models and machine learning principles. Experience applying generative AI techniques to solve business challenges or enhance product features. Search & Recommendation Systems (Bonus): Understanding of search and recommendation systems, including relevance tuning, ranking algorithms, and personalization techniques. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to technical challenges. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
