About the role Casual Relief Teaching opportunities within at the following campuses Early Learning Centre (Wheelers Hill) Early Learning Centre (Malvern) Junior School (Malvern) Junior School (Wheelers Hill) Senior School (Caulfield/St Kilda East) Senior School (Wheelers Hill) Key Responsibilities: Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies to develop engaging learning outcomes ensuring individual learning needs are catered for Develop, select and use informal and formal, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours General Skills and Qualifications: Hold a current VIT registration Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire children Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development Must hold and have maintained a current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis training, Asthma training Teamwork and interpersonal skills Time management and organisational skills Early Learning School Specific Qualifications: Sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the early years Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate primary years program is an advantage Obtained a Bachelor of Early Childhood or the equivalent as approved by ACECQ Junior School Specific Qualifications: Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years program is an advantage Sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the primary years Senior School Specific Qualifications: Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate middle years program is an advantage VCE experience an advantage Please note your application will be be pooled and considered by the relevant campus upon submission.
