In collaboration with staff in the other Library Portfolios the role looks at strategic and operational workflows to understand where there can be improvements to efficiency, quality and experience.As a Business Process Analyst, you will: Analyse business processes and systems and the way that people, information, and content interacts and is captured and transferred between systems and workflows.Map business processes and make recommendation for business process improvements across the library.Plan and prioritises work and critical activities appropriately and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, finds effective ways to deal with them and evaluates progress.Seek feedback from clients regarding their satisfaction and perspective with products or services received, respond to feedback with openness and transparency and seek to identify ways to better service the customer.Distil the core issues from complex information, draws accurate conclusions and condense complex information and next steps into simple concise terms that others can understand.Provide ethical advice to clients that address underlying issues, promoting value-adding insights and recommendations.Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of potential students, stakeholders or key and influential individuals both inside and outside the University.To be successful, you'll have: A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; orExtensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Demonstrated project management experience and commitment to continuous improvement of processes and personal drive and self-motivation.Extensive experience with business process improvement methodologies and the ability to apply them across teams.Demonstrated experience with Visio or an equivalent process visualisation tool.Here's how to apply: Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.For a confidential discussion regarding this role, please contact Stephen Dearnaley, Senior Manager, Library Performance and Planning on .For a copy of the position description, please see below:Applications for this position close on Sunday 15 th December, 11:55pm.
