We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Educator to join our team in Melton. ECMS is excited to be launching a unique opportunity to attain full time employment with VECTEA conditions, working across a range of our services providing backfill support. This role will support our teams when a member of their team is absent, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable experience working across different services with a range of practices. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term position, working 38 hours a week. You will need to be available between 8:00am & 5:00pm and will be required to work across services located in Melton and surrounding suburbs. If required to work across multiple services in one day you may be eligible for travel time. What will you do? The relief management team will be your central point of contact – ensuring you are informed of daily work locations and providing a source of support and guidance. You will be assigned to various ECMS sessional kindergartens offering you the opportunity to receive mentorship from multiple leadership teams, whilst maintaining a home service to foster a sense of belonging. Work alongside our teams to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships across our services with children, families, staff and the local community Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis More about you A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard Current Working with Children's Check Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate Hold a valid Australian Driver's license What's in it for you?
