Responsibilities: Analyse financial data, trends, and key performance indicators to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Develop and maintain financial models to underpin strategic decision-making. Collaborate with Office Directors and project teams to establish and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial outcomes. Offer regular financial reporting and analysis to senior management, spotlighting key insights and recommendations. Ensure comprehensive oversight of all financial aspects of the P&L, prepayments, and accruals for the branches, entities, or disciplines in your reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure SOX compliance and elevate financial performance. About you: To thrive in this role, you must excel in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and engage stakeholders at all levels. Be an experienced, degree-qualified finance professional or a technical/engineering specialist with robust commercial acumen and finance exposure. Experienced working on 100+ projects at one time, ranging from $10k - $1M+ in both government and private sectors. Leverage strong engagement and influencing skills to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders. Advanced Excel skills: ability to produce pivot tables and conduct XLOOKUP's. Demonstrate independence, proactiveness, and self-motivation with a penchant for thinking outside the box and driving change. Showcase the ability to collect/extract, interpret, and review financial information at projectized and corporate levels. Provide strategic analytics and decision support in relation to business performance (target and profitability measure setting; strategic planning, forecasting and annual budget cycle support). P&L forecast modelling and supports cost control, effective resourcing decisions and risk mitigation strategies.
