Health and Safety Advisor - Project Value $1.8 billion Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) Contract/Temp Want to work on Australia's largest transmission line project? Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border. This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. The role As the HSE Advisor within the HSSE team, you will assist the team in ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all personnel, in accordance with the Elecnor management system expectations, operating standards, and HSSE management manual, statutory requirements, and client specifications. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Implementation of HSSE plans and supporting documentation Communication of HSE issues / standards Co-ordination of HSE initiatives for the Project as required HSSE reporting and analysis Health programmes; including fitness for and return to work HSSE training and competency assessment, including onboarding and inductions Incident classification, notification investigation, and close out of all actions to prevent reoccurrence HSSE Assurance and Verification Contractor evaluation and support as required What you will bring to the team: Five years' experience in the engineering and construction industry A minimum of 10 years' experience in occupational health and safety Competent level of reporting and analytical experience Ideally, degree/diploma qualification in a related discipline This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to one of the nation's largest energy infrastructure projects in an exciting and challenging role.
