Duties
Lead and manage the Child and Family Learning Centre as a place where the wellbeing of children and parents comes first, providing access and delivery to a range of education and health services, together with ensuring the success, accountability, and continuous improvement of the centre.
Period of Appointment
ASAP until 30 March 2025
Hours per fortnight
73.5 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
Desirable Requirements
1. An appropriate tertiary qualification, such as a qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Care, Adult Education, Health Care, Community Development, or a related discipline.
2. A current driver’s licence.
