In this role, you will report to the DCSSA CSP&I Senior Program Manager and will develop the level design and technical solutions that meet the Customers needs. This role will also work very closely with the DCSSA Chief Engineer and the AWS Technical Director: Key responsibilities include: - Development and maintenance of the CS Solution Architecture, - Development and update CS Roadmaps and Growth Pathways, - Providing technical governances and thought leadership for CS Innovation and Efficiency Projects, - Custodian of CS Digital Engineering Initiatives, including support to DDG CS (BL.8 configuration) architectural views and framework, - Developing a good working relationship with the Customer's technical leadership and acting as the focal point for architectural planning with the Customer, - Developing and maintaining a high-level of knowledge of the technology relevant to the system and its products, - Developing architectural frameworks that meets the specified Mission Requirements that supports intent, based on a good understanding of Customer needs (evolving threats and technology evolution and trends), - Support the CSSA Chief Engineer creating a high-level design solution capable of meeting System and Regulatory Requirements, - Support the CSSA in the management of margins and transversals as applicable to the scope, - Liaise with and lead wider CS Technical workforce to ensure unified approach to CS Architecting. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: - Education Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Software or similar). - Experience 10 years in the Defence Industry. - Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams. - Security Clearance NV1. - Certifications Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ, INCOSE CSEP, or Defence engineering accreditations. Desired Qualifications - Defence Industry Experience Working with CASG, NSSG, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, or Navantia.
