About the roleWe are currently seeking a Part Time Rehabilitation Consultant to join the team in Albany.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Allied Health professional who is looking for the perfect balance between managing their professional career and personal goals.
In the Rehabilitation Consultant role, you will use your clinical skills to provide early intervention, injury prevention, and workplace rehabilitation services (and other similar services) to our referred clients to assist individuals to return to health, remain at work, return to work, or commence new employment, ensuring excellence in and quality of service delivery and customer service.
What your day looks like: Delivering high-quality case management tasks with manageable caseload and the help of administrative support.Using your clinical knowledge to improve and develop return to work outcomes.Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop a holistic return to work plan.Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.Engaging and building customer relationships throughout the Great Southern and South West of WA.Experience & qualificationsKeen to join the team?
Our new team member will have:
A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Osteopathy, Chiropractics, or Physiotherapy.Registration with either Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits.A current driver licence and access to their own vehicle.What's on offerOur team members are provided with:
