About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Continuous Improvement and Capital Projects, the Project Engineer is responsible for assisting with the delivery and execution of all capital projects and infrastructure upgrades across all Repurpose It sites.
Responsibilities Of The Role Include
1. Contributing to the coordination of the end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, quality control, stakeholder management, milestone mapping, budget management, execution and evaluation.
2. Leading the Civils & Projects team.
3. Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the delivery of projects on time and to budget.
4. Ensuring safety and environmental requirements are considered and met including checking JSAs, issuing internal work permits and ensuring identified controls are in place for high-risk work.
5. Preparing and maintaining project management documentation including procurement, project and budget reporting and templates.
6. Researching new and innovative technology solutions relevant to our industry.
About You
We are looking for a Project Engineer with several years of hands-on experience in the resource recovery, manufacturing, or engineering industry to apply their expertise and engineering skills to deliver projects in an innovative environment. A degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil or related field) and/or a qualification in Project Management along with demonstrated experience in delivering capital projects to defined specification and standards is essential.
