The Opportunity
As our Senior Engagement Coordinator for School Leavers, you’ll shape the future of student recruitment for the Moreton Bay and Brisbane regions. In this role, you’ll develop and manage a range of recruitment, marketing, and conversion initiatives aimed at engaging prospective school leavers and those who influence their decisions. Drawing on your insights into this unique market, you’ll craft compelling strategies, campaigns, and materials to attract and inspire future students to start their journey with us.
You will
lead the way in positioning UniSC as the university of choice for school leavers and their influencers through a vibrant program of engagement activities;
offer expert advice on admissions, campaign strategies, marketing, and new initiatives to make our programs stand out;
support and guide a passionate team of Regional Engagement Coordinators, providing first-point assistance for escalations within the School Leaver’s Program and Student Ambassadors.

You will possess:
Extensive experience in leading student recruitment, marketing, or career counselling strategies that engage and inspire.
Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and mediation skills to build and maintain impactful relationships.
Confident public speaker with excellent written communication skills.
Skilled in organisation and project/event management, with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Sound judgment in engaging confidently and sensitively with people from diverse backgrounds, including senior administrators and academics.
Proven ability to make strategic, data-driven decisions based on market insights.
Desirable:
Experience in engaging and communicating with young adults or school groups.
Established connections with Career Advisors and Guidance Officers in the Moreton Bay and Brisbane regions.
