About the Client
Our client is a renowned regional NSW firm with over 10 partners and staff across multiple office locations. They are currently recruiting for a % remote senior accountant to assist with the exponential growth of their client base, and work on business services and business advisory task.
The firm prides itself on its teamwork and passion in accounting and finance space. They have invested in top tier cloud-based technology, so you will be able to work seamlessly from the comfort of your own home as well as access insightful training and development to excel in your career. You are not expected to visit the office locations, however you will always be welcome regardless by a talented and ambitious team.
About the Role
This role is perfect for an experienced intermediate or senior who has a dedicated work ethic and can take responsibility for their time-management and workflow. You will be working % remotely, and be guided by your team leader, managers, and partners to assist on a diverse portfolio of clients.
In addition, you will:
4. Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF.
5. Gain exposure to tax planning work, as well as indirect tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a.
6. Gain exposure to business Advisory work such as cashflow forecasting etc.
7. Work online alongside your team leader with large Corporates, listed clients, very HNWIs and Large Family Groups from a variety of industries from manufacturing, retail, & tech, to agriculture and primary production
8. Continual advisory for clients & external agencies alongside a team leader or partner online
9. Provide guidance to juniors and intermediates
Skills & Experience
10. CA/CPA qualification or near completion
11. Ability to work independently without supervision
12. Minimum 3 years Public Practice experience
13. Technologically adept and confidence in working with clients virtually
14. Australian/NZ permanent residency essential
