Senior Broadcast Technologist

We are currently seeking a Senior Broadcast Technologist to join our team in the brand-new state of the art Sydney Office! You would be looking after the latest in advanced broadcast technology, working with the best in the industry, and some of Australia’s largest radio shows, across KIIS, WSFM, iHeart & CADA!
About the role:
* Maintain, upgrade, and respond to faults regarding studio, network, broadcast systems and transmission technology.
* Ensure continued high-quality support and effective broadcast technology operations.
* Provide preventative maintenance of technical equipment.
* Assist with related hardware and software support including Zetta, Axia, Q-Sys, Broadcast Bionics, NewsBoss.
* Assist with the design, planning and implementation of new technology and systems.
* Ensure any additions or changes to infrastructure are documented clearly and accurately.
* Maintain a high level of quality control on all work carried out by or on behalf of the technology operations team.
* Be available to provide support and respond to alarms after hours as per the on-call roster.

About You:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Advanced experience with radio broadcasting equipment.
* Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
* Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication.
* The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
* Critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Advanced IT skills.
* Audio and visual knowledge.
* Understanding of OH&S requirements.
