Seeking expert customer service candidates looking for a supportive role with training provided Call Centre Operator - (part-time) Rate: $34.59 per hour plus Super Type: Ongoing contract Hours: MondayFriday rotating roster, 5 hours a day, 25 hours per week Location: Maitland To note: This is a part-time role, but the training will be FULLTIME. Successful candidates will be expected to work full-time for approximately 6 weeks while they undertake training. Training will be MondayFriday, 9am5pm. Then the role will return to part-time hours. Working from home is also available in the role post training. However, this is not a fully remote role. Successful candidates will be expected to attend the office. Your new role The successful candidates will be placed on a rotating roster, MondaySunday, including public holidays. After completing training, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Answering inbound calls, addressing queries and providing accurate information to clients Providing excellent customer service Using multiple government systems, entering data and navigating multiple screens Meeting KPIs What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a government or call centre role (highly desirable) Previous experience in customer service, administration or similar (essential) Excellent communication skills, able to 'smile through the phone' Tech-savvy, the ability to pick up systems quickly and navigate across multiple government programs Successful candidates may need to complete a police check What you'll get in return Supportive team with ongoing training provided Ability to move into different teams and work ongoing with the government organisation Weekly pay, online timesheets Support from your Hays consultant What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to os.newcastlehays.com.au.
