About the Role
The role of Finance Manager is pivotal in the Financial Management and Administration. You will be supporting and reporting into the Director on day-to-day company management and lead the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for weekly cash flow management and monthly cash flow forecasting.
2. Review and analyse all credit claims/back charges to minimise write-offs.
3. Responsible for monthly accounting cycle, from management of data processing to reconciliations and general ledger functions.
4. Preparation and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant management information.
5. Maintain and improve the fixed assets registers.
6. Responsible for management of the Accounts/Contract Admin functions.
7. Quarterly preparation and lodgement of BAS.
8. Review and authorise applications for the new suppliers based on criteria as per the company's IMS requirements.
9. Annually review all insurance policies and identify additional risk areas of the business that can be minimised.
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field required with a supporting CPA/CA qualification.
2. Proven leadership skills with the capability to mentor and develop a finance team.
3. Previous experience within Construction and or Manufacturing will be highly advantageous.
