About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Australind site, based in the idyllic South West of You will enjoy a picturesque lifestyle and be home to your family each night!
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable to:
1. Provide direction, support, leadership and development to a team of Mechanical fitters and apprentice’s
2. Coordinate and supervise daily and weekly planned maintenance activities to ensure reliability of equipment and productivity of labour
3. Identify risks that have the capacity to compromise the plant’s performance outcomes and drive resolution of these issues to mitigate any impacts to desired outcomes
4. Ensures contractor activities align with Tronox processes/procedures ( SHE, Engineering Specifications etc.) and Tronox Values & Behaviours
5. Drive continuous improvement cost and productivity initiatives
About you
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
6. 3-5 years experience within a Supervisory role with a skill for leading diverse groups
7. Mechanical Trade Certificate (required)
8. Strong leadership and team management skills
9. Excellent Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
10. Experience in managing contractors in a complex environment
11. Good communication and interpersonal skills
