The role of Manager, Finance and Payroll Services is pivotal within the Department, responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the finance and payroll functions, including budget and resource management. You will drive contemporary service delivery for the Finance and Payroll Services team, providing a broad range of services across the service arms within the Department. As a senior manager, you will bring a collaborative leadership style, stakeholder management skills, and extensive experience in payroll and financial systems. You will lead a team of payroll and finance professionals, fostering strong relationships to continuously improve service delivery. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the Department, including service arms and the State Fire Commission. Your day will comprise a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to utilize your knowledge in budget analysis, introduce efficiencies within the teams, and oversee financial and payroll reporting requirements. You will be working in a collaborative team environment and will bring high-level interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism to the role.
